11/5/2016 · When I say intermittent I mean that in traffic around town or on a highway if I accelerate a dozen times I hear it probably 3-4 times. I call it a rattle or a clatter because it is definitely lower pitched than the tick these engines are known to make from time to time (including mine). The engine has 135,000 miles on it.
